welcome to the Weinberghotel Edelacker. We look forward to welcoming you to our establishment. In order to make your stay as pleasant as possible, we have put together a list of all our services in this alphabetically sorted guide.

If you have any questions or requests regarding something that is not on the list, do not hesitate to contact us. We would be happy to help you.

A
Adapter
Do you need an adapter for electrical sockets or for charging a smartphone? Our reception staff have a selection of adapters ready and will be happy to make them available to you during your stay.
Assembly Point
Should the Weinberghotel Edelacker have to be evacuated during your stay, please follow the escape routes and instructions to emergency exits. The safest place is our assembly point, which is located at the hotel car park in front of the hotel premises.
Auto Service
There are a number of workshops and authorized dealers of various car brands in the region around Saale and Unstrut. You can obtain information on some of them at our reception desk.
B
Baby Cribs
We are happy to provide suitable beds for our youngest guests free of charge. If you have not already informed us about this when you made your reservation, speak to our reception staff.
Banks and ATMs
The Weinberghotel Edelacker does not have its own ATM. The closest place where you can withdraw cash is the Sparkasse Burgenlandkreis and the Volksbank Halle in downtown Freyburg.
Bar

The Weinberghotel Edelacker does not have a typical bar. Our restaurant counter is only used to prepare drinks. There is therefore no way to take a seat at this.

Without a typical bar counter, we don't have a typical bar shop. If our restaurant closes, the serving of drinks will also be discontinued. However, in-house guests are still welcome to take a seat in the lobby seating areas. Drinks are available from reception and the night shift staff.

Barber
Our hotel does not offer its own hairdressing service. However, our reception staff will be happy to give you recommendations for hairdressers in the area and arrange an appointment for you.
Bathrobe
Whether in our sauna or in the room after the shower: We will provide you with a bathrobe for the duration of your stay. We only charge a deposit of 20.00 euros, which you will get back on return. Use or exchange are, of course, free of charge.
Bed Linen
We change your bed linen at least once a week for longer stays. Of course, all of our rooms receive a complete cleaning, fresh towels and bed linen after each guest.
Blankets
Additional blankets are available on request from our reception. Of course, you will not incur any additional costs.
Booster Seat (Toilet)
The toilets in rooms 210 and 310 are equipped with a booster seat. If you are interested in availing yourself of this option, please contact reception.
Breakfast

We serve our breakfast in the wine salon in the old part of our house at the following times:

Monday to Friday: 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Please note that we offer a small menu for our buffet, from which you can choose freely. You can order cappuccino, espresso and other coffee specialties directly from our staff.

C
Change of Linen
If you would like fresh towels and bed linen every day during your stay, please inform our staff at the reception desk. There is no extra charge for this service, but we do not offer it as a standard for reasons of sustainability and the protection of the privacy of our guests.
Charging Station

There is a charging station for electric cars at the back of our main building. If you want to charge your vehicle, simply contact our reception staff. You will receive all the information about the charging process from them. The charging options available are:

Charging station 1 with  max. 4,14 kW (6 A, 400 V): 2,50 € per hour

Charging station 2 with 11,04 kW (16 A, 400 V): 7,00 per hour

Check-in
Upon arrival, all guests register at our reception, during which time they will receive the latest important information about their stay. This check-in is possible every day from 4 p.m. Different arrival times must be agreed in advance with the reception staff.
Check-out
Your stay at the Weinberghotel Edelacker officially ends with the check-out. This takes place for all departing guests between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. If you want to leave before 7 a.m., or if you need your room after 10 a.m., please inform our reception staff. For a late check-out until 2 p.m. we charge a fee of 30.00 euros.
Cigarette Machine
The stairwell between the new and old building of the Edelacker Weinberghotel takes you to the basement. In the stairwell you will find a cigarette machine that is in operation around the clock.
Conference Rooms
Our hotel offers facilities for meetings and conferences with up to 150 participants as well as the appropriate technical equipment. Our conference rooms let in plenty of natural light, but can also be completely darkened. The room sizes range from 25 to 132 square meters. You can get detailed information from our reception staff.
Copy Service
Do you need a copy of any documents? Our staff at the reception will be happy to help you. We charge a maximum of 0.30 euros per page for this service.
D
Doctor/Emergency Doctor
If you need medical assistance or if there is an emergency, please contact our staff immediately. You will be connected directly to reception by dialing 9 on your room telephone.
Dogs and other Pets

Since 01.01.2024, bringing pets into the Weinberghotel Edelacker is not allowed.

E
Earplugs

At the Weinberghotel Edelacker, all guests should be able to enjoy the night. If you need additional noise protection but don't have one in your luggage, please contact our reception directly. There we have three versions of earplugs from OHROPAX® available. We gave you the first pair of earplugs as a gift.

Electric kettle

Each room has an electric kettle and a small selection of teas.

Emergency

If our hotel has to be evacuated in an emergency, please follow the signs to the emergency exits. Escape route plans can be found at the entrance of your room or on the room door as well as in all corridors. All guests and employees are to gather at the assembly point.

If there is a medical emergency, speak to our staff directly or call our reception by dialing 9 on your room phone.

Excursions and Activities
In the entrance area of our hotel we have some information you can take with you about various offers in the area. If you would also like a few tips and recommendations, speak to our staff at reception.
Extra Bed
In many of our rooms we have the option of adding additional beds. If you wish to make use of this possibility, please contact our reception staff directly. For children up to 6 years of age there are no additional costs for an extra bed. An extra bed for children from 7 years of age costs 31.00 euros per night, guests from 12 years of age pay the full overnight price. The prices for an extra bed include breakfast. If you do not want breakfast, please inform us directly.
F
Fax
Do you want to send or receive a fax? No problem! Our reception staff will be happy to help. Please note that we charge 0.10 euros per page sent or received.
Fire
The Weinberghotel Edelacker has a modern fire alarm system. If there is a fire hazard, you will be informed via loudspeakers. Then please follow the signs to the escape routes. Escape route plans can be found at the entrance of your room or on the room door as well as in all corridors. In the event of an evacuation, all guests and employees are to gather at the assembly point on our parking lot.
Fire Extinguisher
If a fire breaks out in your immediate vicinity, you will find fire extinguishers in all corridors and in the stairwells. Their use is clearly described on it.
First Aid
Many of our employees are trained in first aid and are there for you in an emergency. You will be connected directly to the reception by dialing the number 9 on your room telephone and you can call for help.
Flowers
Would you like to give a special someone flowers or conjure up a special ambience for a unique dining experience? We work with florists in the region and will be happy to take care of your request. Please note, however, that ordering flowers takes time. So let us know at least one day in advance.
Fridge

You have the possibility to rent a mini fridge from us, for a deposit of € 80.00, for the duration of your stay.

Gas Station
Is the tank empty? The nearest gas station can be found at Merseburger Straße 31b in Freyburg. Electric cars, on the other hand, can be conveniently charged at the Weinberghotel Edelacker.
H
High Chairs
To make sure your children can sit comfortably at the table at breakfast or in our restaurant, we have high chairs and booster seats ready. If you need one, please contact our service staff directly.
Hotel Shop

You can buy or rent various everyday products at our reception. We also offer our own products, such as our wine jelly, caps, bags or postcards. In addition, you can purchase all regional quality wines from our wine list as well as our current wine of the month in our out-of-home sale. Find out more about this in our wine lounge and speak to our staff directly at reception.

If you want to buy regional spirits, you will find our selection in the display case between the reception and the restaurant counter. If you are interested, please contact our service staff in the restaurant.

Hotel Reservation
Do you already know today that you want to visit us again soon? We look forward to it and will be happy to note down any wishes you may have for your next stay. You are welcome to contact our reception staff before check out to discuss any plans for future visits in peace.
House Slippers
In every room you will find house slippers in the first side cabinet. These simple slippers are included in the room price. You can use them and take them with you when departing.
Housekeeping
Your room was cleaned before your arrival by our cleaning staff. The room cleaning takes place regularly every two nights during your stay. We empty trash cans every day. If you would like your room to be cleaned on a daily basis, please contact reception and inform our staff.
Hygiene Products
It is not uncommon for our guests to need a new toothbrush, sanitary napkin or razor. You can therefore purchase these hygiene items at our reception.
Hot water bottle

There is the possibility to borrow a hot water bottle temporarily at the reception. There is no fee for this. Please be careful! There is a risk of scalding due to the hot water.

I
Ironing Board and Iron
If you would like to iron your clothes yourself, we will be happy to bring an iron and ironing board to your room. To use this service, please contact our staff at reception.
Ironing Service
We would be happy to iron your clothes for you. You can find our current price overview under “Laundry Service” in this booklet. If you are interested, please contact our reception staff.
K
Kitchen
The kitchen of the Weinberghotel Edelacker offers a variety of culinary delights and changing seasonal menus. Before visiting our restaurant, please remember to reserve a table at our reception. As a rule, we do not serve hotel guests without a reservation. Please also note that our kitchen always closes 30 minutes before our restaurant.

Laundry Service
We offer an in-house cleaning service for your laundry. This service is subject to a fee, which is based on the type of garment. If you are interested, please contact our reception.
Lost Property
Should you discover objects or valuables somewhere that do not belong to you, please hand them in at the reception. Here you can also find out whether objects that you are missing have been handed in.
Luggage Service
We will be happy to take your luggage at reception if your room is not ready for occupancy. On request, we can also bring your luggage to your room. There are no costs for this service.

Mini-Bar
Our rooms do not have their own minibar. But don’t worry, you won’t go hungry or miss out on any snacks. Our reception desk offers a small selection of beverages, chocolates and snacks around the clock (24 hours).
N
Newspapers
We offer reading copies of current daily newspapers for breakfast and in our reception area. You have the choice between the Süddeutscher Zeitung, Welt, Mitteldeutsche Zeitung and Bild (all in German). If you are interested, you can also purchase these newspapers at our reception.
P
Parking
Our guests can park in our hotel car park free of charge for the duration of their stay. This is located directly in front of the hotel premises and has video surveillance. Parking in the roundabout in front of the main entrance of the hotel, in front of the side entrance or behind the main building is not permitted. The only exceptions are electric vehicles using our charging station.
Payment
When you check out at the reception desk, you will receive an invoice detailing all services used during your stay. We accept all common means of payment: Master Card, Eurocard, Diners Club, Visa Card, American Express and Girocard, as well as cash.

Our kitchen would be happy to put together a picnic backpack with all kinds of delicacies for you.

Pillows
All guests sleep differently and we are prepared for that. In addition to the pillows that are already on the beds in our rooms upon arrival, you are welcome to ask for an additional pillow. Talk to us at our reception.
Please do not disturb
We respect the privacy of our guests and want to ensure peace and relaxation. Please hang the “Do not disturb” sign on the outside of your room door if you want to remain undisturbed. Please note that in this case we will not carry out any cleaning.
Post
You are welcome to hand in your letters and postcards at our reception. Since our mail is picked up every day at lunchtime, the best time to do so is right after breakfast.
Postage Stamps and Postcards
Sending holiday greetings by post remains a wonderful gesture even in the digital age. That’s why we have stamps and a small selection of postcards ready for you at reception.
Printing Service
“Working where others go on vacation” has long ceased to be a trend. If you find yourself in need to set up a little office at the Weinberghotel Edelacker and print documents, our reception will support you. We can also print single pages for you, whether in color or black and white. We charge a maximum of 0.30 euros per page for this effort.
R
Radio
You can also listen to radio programs on the TV in your room. Please note the brief instructions for the TV set in this guide.
Reading Glasses
If you have lost your visual aid or have forgotten it at home, we will be happy to help you out. At our reception we offer some reading glasses that you can borrow for the duration of our stay.
Reception
Our reception is manned around the clock. You can reach the reception desk by dialing 9 on your room telephone. The reception staff can provide information on a number of topics, but you can also buy or rent everyday products there and go shopping in the hotel shop.
Restaurant

Before visiting our restaurant, please remember to reserve a table at our reception. As a rule, we do not serve hotel guests without a reservation. Please also note that our kitchen always closes 30 minutes before our restaurant.

Room Pass
When you check in, you will receive a room pass for your room key. On the one hand, this is to help you remember your room number and, on the other hand, the pass also contains some important information for you. Please present your room pass when you come for breakfast.
Room Service
We will be happy to bring drinks and food to your room. You can use this service every day from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and for a fee of 3.50 euros per order. Our menus, drinks and wine lists are available in the restaurant. Our reception staff take telephone orders, and you are welcome to order in person directly in the restaurant. When ordering food, please pay attention to the opening times of our kitchen.
S
Safe
Our rooms do not have their own safe. If you want to protect your valuables, you can do so in our hotel safe. This service is offered to all our guests free of charge.
Sauna

Guests of the Weinberghotel Edelacker can use our sauna and steam bath free of charge. 
The sauna is open daily from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on weekends from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please contact our reception 30 minutes before your planned visit. There you will also receive large towels and bathrobes from our staff for a deposit.

Sewing Kit
A sewing kit is available in every room for minor repairs to your clothing. You can find it in the large wardrobe and can use it free of charge if necessary.
Shoe Shine Machine
To clean your shoes, we have set up a shoe shine machine in the entrance area of our hotel. If necessary, you can use it at any time free of charge.
Shoehorns/Shoe Cleaning Cloths
In order to put on your shoes quickly and comfortably and to take care of them in between, there is a shoehorn and shoe cleaning cloths in every room. You can usually find these in the entrance of your room or in the wardrobe.
Smoking

The Weinberghotel Edelacker is a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the entire building and in all rooms. E-cigarettes or tobacco vaporizers are also no exception. In the event of non-compliance, we charge a cleaning fee of at least € 50 per room and, if necessary, issue a ban.

Outside the hotel, a smoking area has been set up in front of the side entrance of the main building. If our terrace is open, smoking is also permitted there.

Sockets/Electrical Connections
As is standard in Germany, our sockets provide 230 V / 50 Hz. If you need an adapter for electrical devices using a different plug, please contact our reception.
Sustainability
"We work sustainably", is often said today. But the Weinberghotel Edelacker is committed to all three areas with great dedication:

Ecological (among others):
  • Use of high-efficiency pumps
  • LEDs as primary illuminants (min. 98%)
  • App control and motion detection
  • Condensing boiler with heat recovery
  • Recycled paper in all washrooms
  • We only print on PEFC, FSC and recycled paper (from the invoice to the guest flyer)
Social
  • Fair salaries for all employees (collective bargaining structures above minimum wage)
  • Company health management, paid further training, Sunday and night bonuses and other special benefits for all employees
  • Work-life balance: Compensatory time off for overtime, no partial shifts
  • Regular donations to health and education projects
Ecological
Profits are invested directly in the Weinberghotel Edelacker. This became particularly clear with the modernizations and renovations in 2022/2023. This is the only way to ensure that our hotel remains attractive for all guests for a very long time and that it functions properly.
Supermarkt
In Freyburg you will find various shopping opportunities. If you are looking for a supermarket, you will find Aldi, Edeka and Netto there. You can also get some everyday items from us directly.
T
Taxi
If you need a taxi, our staff at the reception will be happy to help you. You will also find the phone number of the local taxi company on your room pass.
Telephone / Room Telephone

All of our rooms have their own telephone. The number of the connection corresponds to the room number (+49 34464 35 + room number), so you can be called from outside. If you want to call external phone numbers yourself, first dial 0 (zero) before entering the phone number. You will then hear the dial tone and you can dial any number.

The most important phone number during your stay in our hotel will probably be the reception. To reach them by phone, simply dial 9 on your room phone.

Television Program

All rooms in the Weinberghotel Edelacker have their own television offering at least 30 German-speaking and one English-speaking channels. Channels 32 to 49 are radio stations.

Terrace
Our terrace is open all year round every day from 12 noon to 10 p.m. Our guests can of course also have breakfast there on warm days. Enjoy the view over the vineyards and the wine town of Freyburg. Evening events such as the mountain festival also take place regularly on our terrace. You can get information about this at our reception.
Train
The Unstrutbahn 585 runs in one direction from Freyburg to Wangen (Unstrut) and in the other direction from Freyburg to Naumburg (Saale). If you have arrived without your own car, we will be happy to call you a taxi or provide information on bus schedules at the hotel. Simply contact us at reception.
U
Umbrellas
Even the most beautiful wine regions in the world sometime contend with unpredictable weather. If a sudden and unexpected rain threatens to ruin your plans, you can borrow an umbrella from our reception. We only charge a deposit of 10.00 euros for this.
V
Video Surveillance
We have installed several cameras on the hotel premises. These video cameras are used for operational purposes and are only aimed at the hotel’s private property. There is no transmission of video data to third parties. The only exception: if there are incidents on the premises (e.g. an accident in our parking lot), our video material can be provided to the police for their investigations.
W
Wake-up Service
Do you need to wake up at a particular time and require a little help? Simply tell our reception staff when we should wake you up on your room telephone.
WiFi
The internet can be accessed throughout the hotel premises via Wi-Fi. Simply select the network "Gast-WLAN-EA" to connect. We do not collect any personal data or device information through Wi-Fi usage. Therefore, usage is anonymous and, of course, free of charge.
Wine corner in the lobby
Our Wine corner in the lobby is open to our house guests at all times. There you can find out about some special regional quality wines, leaf through our holiday journals or just linger.
Wine Sales
We offer quality wines from the Saale-Unstrut region in our hotel shop. We would be happy to advise you on our wine offer or to accommodate your wishes in a wine tasting.
Wine Tasting
We are always happy to present regional wines to our guests in a wine tasting. If you are interested, please have a look at our offers for wine tastings. These can be found as a brochure in your room.
